NuSTAR Observations

Here you can find the details of past NuSTAR observations that have been accepted or completed.

  • Accepted GO Targets: Link to the HEASARC directory of previous accepted NuSTAR General Observer (GO) programs, their targets and abstracts.
  • NuSTAR GO Large Proposals: This page lists the Large Program proposals selected in NuSTAR GO cycles since 2019, and will be updated when selections are announced each year.
  • NuSTAR & XRISM PV-phase coordination: This page lists the targets selected in the NuSTAR GO programs for observations coordinated with XRISM during its performance verification (PV) phase, carried out over 2023/2024.
  • Legacy Surveys: After the initial two-year prime mission, NuSTAR Galactic and Extragalactic Legacy Surveys were performed in the mission extensions from 2015 to 2019, and observations of a Swift-BAT-selected sample of AGN is still ongoing.
